Who we are

Aziea is a strategic advisory practice operated by Varun Chaudhary, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We provide advisory services to founders and business owners of growing companies. References to "Aziea," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to this practice.

What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you actively provide it to us. This includes:

Your name and professional details (company, role, team size) when you complete our contact form
Your email address and calendar availability when you book a discovery call via Calendly
Your name, email, and payment information when you engage our services (processed via our invoicing provider)
Information you share in the course of receiving our advisory services

We do not collect information passively through cookies beyond what Wix's platform collects for basic site functionality. We do not run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

To respond to your enquiry — when you contact us via our form or email
To schedule and conduct discovery calls — via Calendly
To deliver advisory services — when you engage us as a client
To issue invoices and process payments — as required to fulfil our contract with you
To comply with legal obligations — including tax and record-keeping requirements

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly requested to receive updates from us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use the following service providers who may process your data on our behalf:

Wix.com — website hosting and contact form submissions (servers may be located outside Canada)
Calendly — appointment scheduling (US-based; data may be processed in the United States)
Google Workspace — email, calendar, and video calls (data processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy)

Where these providers process data outside Canada, we rely on their published safeguards and standard contractual protections.

How long we keep it

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

Enquiries that did not become engagements: deleted or anonymised within 12 months
Client engagement records: retained for 7 years for tax and legal purposes, then securely deleted
Calendly booking data: governed by Calendly's own retention policies

Your rights

Under Quebec Law 25 and federal privacy law, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you
Request access to your personal information
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Withdraw consent for uses beyond what is necessary to serve you
Lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI) du Québec

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. Our email is hosted on Google Workspace with two-factor authentication enabled. We do not store payment card information. Payments are handled by our invoicing provider.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
